Built one load at a time
Big Mike's Transport was located in Chicago because that is where American freight actually moves. Sitting at the intersection of the country's busiest rail yards, interstates and distribution corridors, our dispatchers can put a truck under a load faster than carriers operating from the edges of the map.
What began as a single-truck operation grew the only way it can in this industry: shippers called back. They called back because we answered the phone at 2 a.m., because the reefer download matched what we promised, and because when something went wrong on the road they heard it from us first — not from their customer.
Today we run a late-model fleet of refrigerated and dry van equipment for producers, manufacturers, distributors and 3PLs across the country. The company is bigger. The standard has not moved.

Tell the truth, early
Delays happen in trucking. Surprises should not. If a load is at risk you hear it from our dispatch before it becomes your problem — together with the options we are already working on.
Temperature is not an estimate
Reefer freight is either at spec or it is a claim. Verified pre-cools, continuous monitoring and documented temperature records are standard on every temperature-controlled load — not an add-on service.
The driver is the company
Our drivers are the people your receiver actually meets. We hire for judgment and safety record, we pay to keep good people, and we give them equipment that never puts them in a bad position.
